Ramadaan kareeem

Ramadan: is an Islamic religious observance that takes place during the ninth month of the Islamic calender, when the Quran was revealed. Prayers, sawm (fasting), charity, and self-accountability are especially stressed at this time. Every day during the month of Ramadan, Muslims around the world get up before dawn to eat and perform their fajr prayer. They break their fast when the fourth prayer of the day, Magrib (sunset), is due.

anyway, Ramadan feasts are completely different than the picture i posted below. In Ramadan, most people cook traditional dishes like Freed, Harees and Lgaimaat. (I'm going to post pictures of the dishes i mentioned and brief explaination of them).

today, i'm going to post a pic of the best hotdog sandwichs i had last week. my hotdogs were smothered with ketchup and mustard. i had baby cucumbers pickles with it and washed it down with gingerale + ginseng soda (must try).
